The 2012 edition of the Bamburi Rugby Super Series will take place over five match days:
- Pool Matches: 5th, 12th & 19th May 2012.
- Semi-finals: 26th May 2012
- 3rd/4th Place & Final: 2nd June 2012
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament structure remains the same as that of RSS 2011.
There will be 8 franchises, 6 from Kenya, 2 from Uganda and 0 from Tanzania.
Franchises will be placed in two groups of 4 and play one match against teams in its group at home or away over the first three match days.
Match day 4 will feature semi-finals pitting the winners of each group against the Runners-up of the other group. If one Ugandan team is placed in the semis then one semi will be played in Kampala and 5th/6th playoff introduced
Winners will face off in the Final with the losers playing for 3rd & 4th place on Match Day 5.
