Logistics firm SDV Transami renewed their association with the Bamburi Rugby Super Series when they unveiled a Ksh 3.5 million sponsorship package at a ceremony held at their offices in Nairobi. The package sees the logistics firm come on board as co-sponsors.

Tony Stenning, the SDV Managing Director for East Africa said, “We have been involved with this event for the past five years and find it a very good event. It is well supported within the countries that we operate in within East Africa. We believe rugby is growing in popularity in Kenya and also in Uganda. We are very happy to do this. We look forward to following the event. It is a pleasure for our group to continue supporting the Bamburi Rugby Super Series.”

Kenya Rugby Union Chairman Mwangi Muthee expressed his gratitude to the firm, noting that by associating with the Bamburi Rugby Super Series, they were playing a crucial role in the nurturing and development of the next crop of rugby talent in this part of the world.

Bamburi Rugby Super Series Organizing Committee Chairman Aggrey Chabeda also expressed his gratitude, thanking SDV Transami for extending their association with the tournament for a fifth successive year.
