Adimo, part of the winning UAP Rhinos side from last year’s event opted to play for Sharks, the Universities franchise, by virtue of being a student at the United States International University.

He will be up against several Kenya team mates on the Cheetahs side, most notably Vincent Mose, who starts at win, and Lawi Buyachi at number eight.

Buyachi and Sharks’ player Tony Onyango were Kenya’s try scorers when they beat Uganda 12-0 in an Elgon Cup return leg fixture, though Kenya lost the trophy 17-19 on aggregate.
