Gamma to lead Victoria against the Rhinos

Old faithful Faisal Gamma will skipper the Victoria side that plays defending champions UAP Rhinos at the RFUEA Grounds on Bamburi Rugby Super Series match day one on Saturday 5 May 2012. Gamma, a veteran of many battles for the Ugandan’ national side, is expected to be in the thick of action as he directs traffic between his forwards and backs who include the likes of Jonathan Onen and Mike Wokorach, part of the Rugby Crane’s 2012 Elgon Cup winning squad.

Champions Rhinos will be led out on to the RFUEA turf by Kenyan international Sammy Warui, who recently made his Kenya debut during the recent two legs of the Elgon Cup against Ugandan opposition. Other key players for the Rhinos will include lock Wilson Kopondo, Brian Nyikuli and youngster Eden Agero to name but a few.

This match kicks off at 4.00pm and will be aired live on Supersport 9East, channel 219 on DSTV.
