Injuries to Robert Seguya, Michael Wokorach and Dennis Muhanji sustained during last weekend’s 5-39 loss to the England Counties in Kampala will see the trio sit out of the reverse fixture against the Counties in Nairobi. Head Coach Ham Onsando, while speaking at a press function in Nairobi on Wednesday morning said, ” We have made a few changes to the squad, necessitated by injuries to Robert Seguya, Dennis Muhanji and Mike Wokorach.in their place come in Wilson Kopondo, Tony Mutai and Ronnie Mwenesi as we expect to beef up our tight five.”
He added, ” “England Counties should expect an improved performance from the Warriors. The result in Kampala was largely due to the fact that the team had not really gelled, but I expect a marked improvement in Nairobi.”
The match takes place on Saturday 16 June 2012 at the RFUEA Grounds, kicking off at 4.00pm and will be aired live on Supersport 9E.
